Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms govern all custom furniture orders placed with Trælinie Snedkeri, Nørrebrogade 64, 2200 København N, Denmark. By placing an order you accept these terms in full.

2. Quotations & orders

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. An order is confirmed upon receipt of a signed proposal and the agreed deposit (typically 40% of the total price). Prices include Danish VAT (moms) unless stated otherwise.

3. Design & consultation

The initial on-site consultation costs 149 kr and is credited toward the project total if you proceed. Design revisions beyond the agreed scope are billed at 650 kr/h. Final designs must be approved in writing before production begins.

4. Production & delivery

Production timelines are estimates and communicated at order confirmation. We will notify you of any significant delays. Delivery and installation within Copenhagen municipality is included in quoted prices unless otherwise stated.

5. Payment

A 40% deposit is due upon order confirmation. The remaining balance is due upon completion and installation. Invoices are payable within 14 days. Late payments may incur interest at the rate permitted under Danish law.

6. Cancellation

Cancellation after production has begun is subject to charges for materials purchased and labour completed. The deposit is non-refundable once production starts. Cancellation before production may forfeit the consultation fee.

7. Warranty

We warrant our furniture against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from installation. Normal wear, damage from misuse, and changes to the installation environment are excluded. Warranty claims must be reported promptly to [email protected].

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to the order value. We are not liable for indirect losses. Danish consumer protection law applies to consumer orders and cannot be waived.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
